Un coro de risas | A chorus of laughter

ARRORRO visitó el Coro Mordje Guebirtig, un coro judío en el barrio Villa Crespo, Buenos Aires.

La mayoría de sus integrantes son personas en la denominada tercera edad, aunque viven como una segunda juventud, manteniendo un aura de gracia y atrevimiento. Una señora nos dijo: “Tenemos otro día de ensayo pero ese día son sólo mujeres, no es tan divertido”.

Cuando les contábamos que las personas utilizan canciones muy diferentes para ayudar a dormir recibimos la espontánea respuesta de un señor: “Para ayudarme a dormir yo uso pastillas!”.

Un coro de risas.

Asi se cantaron canciones de cuna con emoción, se cantó tango con pasión y un señor cantó opera con 89 años de edad. Se podria leer en un papel puesto en la pared: “La juventud termina cuando termina el entusiasmo”.

En cada grabación nueva, nace una oportunidad de encuentro con el humano, de encuentro con gente que quiere compartir con el mundo. El proyecto ARRORRÓ canta la vida.

Once again we could feel fortunate to be part of this project. ARRORRÓ visited Mordje Guebirtig Choir, a Jewish choir in Villa Crespo neighborhood in Buenos Aires.
Most of its members are people in the so-called third age, though they live a kind of second youth, maintaining an aura of grace and audacity. A lady told us: We have another day of rehearsal but that day there are just women, so it’s not as fun as today.
And when we were telling them that people use different songs to help get to sleep we got the spontaneous response of a man: To help me sleep I use pills!
A chorus of laughter.
The choir sang lullabies with emotion, sang tango with passion and a 89-year-old man sang opera. One could read a post on the wall: Youth ends when ends enthusiasm.
In each recording, there is the chance of encountering with people who want to share something with the world. The project ARRORRÓ sings life.
