Epidemia en Chaco | Epidemic in Chaco
No siempre las cosas salen como uno quiere, y si bien la idea inicial de nuestro proyecto proponía ser desarrollada principalmente en Chaco, nos vimos en la obligación de cambiar de locación debido a la epidemia que afecta a las personas de esta zona. Esta epidemia, provocada por la enfermedad viral del “dengue” (cuyo agente transmisor es el mosquito Aedes aegypti), trae síntomas que incluyen fiebre, alta cefalea, dolor muscular y de las articulaciones, pérdida del gusto y del apetito, erupción tipo sarampionosa en pecho y extremidades inferiores nauseas y vómitos, dolor de estómago intenso y continuo hemorragias nasales, bucales o gingivales y en muchos casos, consecuencias fatales como la muerte.
Es por todo lo arriba mencionado que la conexión en vivo con la ciudad de Linz se realizará finalmente desde la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Capital Federal.
De todos modos, habrá muchas canciones provenientes de Chaco. Marcos Salomón y Leo Ramos, del Museo de Medios de Resistencia (http://portal.chaco.gov.ar/index.php/Details/Museo-de-Medios-de-Comunicacion.html), se sumarán al proyecto haciendo una convocatoria para registrar canciones de cuna dentro del mismo Museo. La actividad se desarrollará en conjunto con el Departamento de Cine y Espacio Audiovisual (a cargo de Marcelo López).
Sometimes things just don´t work the way we would like them to , and though the original idea of our project was to be developed mainly in Chaco, we were forced to change the location due to an epidemic that affects the people living in the area. This epidemic, caused by the viral disease “dengue” (which is the agent transmitting mosquito Aedes aegypti), brings symptoms that include fever, strong headaches, aching muscles and joints, loss of taste and appetite, rash type measles in the chest and the lower limbs, nausea and vomiting, intense stomach ache and continuous nasal, mouth or gingival bleeding and, often, fatal consequences.
Due to these facts, the live connection with the city of Linz will finally be done from the City of Buenos Aires, Capital Federal.
Anyway, there’ll be lots of songs from Chaco. Marcos Salomón and Leo Ramos, from the Museum of Media from the city of Resistencia (http://portal.chaco.gov.ar/index.php/Details/Museo-de-Medios-de-Comunicacion.html), will be joining the project by opening a call to register lullabies in the Museum. The activity will be developed with the Department of Cinema and Audiovisual Space (run by Marcelo López).
